Fine motor practice with paint brush
This technique is really fun for secret messages, treasure maps, etc. I decided to have Bug make an elephant for the letter E.
I drew the elephant with white crayon on watercolor paper.
Sneaky huh?
She is currently going through an "I need help" phase, so we painted the elephant together. We made it gray by using the black watercolor all over the page.
Here is the finished product!
Review: Lots of fun! We've done a treasure hunt using this technique. I wrote the steps for our morning on the map and we painted it first then did all the stops. For example, 1. go potty; 2. Bug gets dresses; 3. Mommy gets dressed; 4. give Daddy a good morning hug and kiss
